A non-profit "art for healing" project fostering health through creativity.  Many mediums, textures and treats, all heartfelt and handmade.  Drop-in visitors are always welcome. Art for the Heart offers monthly workshops in a variety of fiber arts, and a weekly "Hersday" women's art  group Thursdays 11-3.

Art Through the Loom members are a diverse community of fiber artists who come together to access markets and learn from one another as textile professionals.  Our focus is on weaving, spinning and dyeing as well as techniques that use handwoven, handspun or hand-dyed materials.  Guild members participate, as a group, in three to four shows and sales each year.

Diné be' iiná, Inc. is a grassroots, nonprofit organization founded in 1991.  Diné be' iiná's mission is to restore the balance between Navajo culture, life and land.  While serving all sheep producers, DBI is particularly dedicated to conserving the traditional Navajo-Curro sheep breed as well as to educating t he community and the public about the importance of Navajo Sheep Culture and spirituality.  DBI's goals are to restore status to sheep herding, wool processing, and fiber arts, and to promote t he education that is necessary for their pursiut in the modern world.  DBI's activities provide leadership, economic development and support for traditional lifeways of Navajo shepherds and fiber artists.  Take a moment to browse our site, see our photos and listen to our story.

The Española Valley Fiber Arts Center is a unique resource for fiber artists and those who find beauty in the fiber arts. Visitors to the adobe storefront in the historic district of Española, New Mexico enter a world of looms, colorful yarns, beautiful handmade textiles, books, and supplies. They may also find busy students learning to weave, spinners gathering for "Spinning Saturday", Pueblo women purchasing materials for embroidery, a tapestry artist weaving her latest creation, a Hispanic weaver from the High Road searching for just the right color of yarn, or children working on their backstrap looms. The Center is a special place where people of all ages and backgrounds are brought together by their interest in the fiber arts.

EVFAC offers classes in all forms of fiber arts as well as business training classes.

Las Arañas Spinners and Weavers Guild was formed in 1971 by a group of spinners and weavers in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area to provide education and learning experiences for its members and increase the awareness of and appreciation for fiber arts.

The New Mexico Fiber Arts Trails are an arts entrepreneurship project of NMArts, New Mexico's arts agency. The trails lead visitors to 71 fiber artists and related businesses that applied to be in a statewide guide with maps, available through our web site. The trails are designed to bring the market to artists while promoting arts-based tourism and creative economic development, in partnership with NMFA.
