2010 Convergence in Albuquerque!

The Handweavers Guild of America is holding it's 2010 Convergence in Albuquerque. Let's get involved! Go to www.weavespindye.org and click on the Convergence information and you can find out how to submit work to exhibitions, become a member and attend the Convergence.

Foot Soldiers? I find that I need to form a committee of members who would like to get involved in placing Community Exhibit Proposals for Convergence 2010. I have received all of the proposals, reviewed,and recorded them. I now have fifty five. I have a list of suggestions for venues from the arts community in Albuquerque; I have visited some and have begun taking proposals to those spaces for their perusal. Now, I need a band of foot soldiers who would like to help me with all of this running around. Albuquerque does not have a lot of spaces for exhibit, so, I need creative and reliable people to get this done. I actually thought that I could do this by myself, but, alas my shoulders are starting to sag. This would be an opportunity for you to visit Galleries and see some of these beautiful exhibits first hand.
